Job Description:
Arrangement drawings.
– Model clear, complete, and accurate structural steel details based on design inputs, sketches, field notes, and verbal communication.
– The designer must interpret and implement technical direction received from engineers, technologists or other supervisors and work independently to develop clear and concise drawings that will be checked by an engineer prior to being completed and issued.
– Prepare material take-offs.
– Knowledgeable and capable of working in excel, word and other material take-off software.
Basic Requirements (Candidates must meet all basic qualifications to be considered)
– Diploma in Engineering or Drafting and Design Technology certificate from ITI/CTI.
– 2 to 10 years of experience in Tekla and/or AutoCAD.
– Minimum Two (2) years of work experience in Design office of an EPC company.
– Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Requirements
– Previous Drafting experience on preparation of steel fabrication drawings using Tekla is a must.
