Editorial Policy

Effective Date: February 22, 2026

At EnggWave.com, our mission is to provide engineering students and freshers with the most reliable, timely, and actionable job information. This Editorial Policy outlines the standards we follow to ensure every post meets our quality benchmark.

1️⃣Our Sourcing Standard

We do not publish rumors or unverified social media “leaks.” Our editorial team sources information exclusively from:

  • Official Corporate Career Portals (e.g., TCS NextStep, Infosys Launchpad).
  • Verified Company Social Media handles (LinkedIn, X/Twitter).
  • Direct communications from HR departments and Campus Training & Placement Officers (TPOs).
  • Government Gazettes and Official Recruitment Boards.

2️⃣The “Human-in-the-Loop” Verification

Every job notification published on EnggWave undergoes a 3-step human verification process:

  1. Link Validation: We verify that the application link is live and leads to a secure (HTTPS) official domain.
  2. Eligibility Decoding: We simplify complex eligibility criteria to ensure students from specific batches (2024, 2025, 2026) can find relevant roles quickly.
  3. Fact-Checking: We cross-reference salary data and job locations with historical data to ensure the drive is legitimate.

3️⃣Anti-Plagiarism & AI Policy

While we use modern tools to help aggregate data, all “Career Advice,” “Interview Guides,” and “Company Profiles” are written or heavily edited by our human experts (led by Jyostna). We do not publish raw, AI-generated content that lacks real-world context or accuracy.

4️⃣Correction & Update Policy

Recruitment timelines change rapidly. Our policy is to:

  • Update active posts within 4 hours of an official change being announced.
  • Clearly mark expired drives with a “Closed” or “Expired” notice to prevent user frustration.
  • Correct any factual errors immediately upon discovery.

5️⃣Independence & Ethics

EnggWave is an independent entity. We do not accept payment from companies to “promote” fake drives. Our editorial integrity is our highest priority; we only recommend drives that we believe are beneficial to our engineering community.
