Job Description:

Zycus is looking for Quality Analyst professional who should be strong in API automation testing and Web Based testing.

Job Responsibilities:

Candidate will be part of a .com product team
As an Analyst, candidate would be responsible for Functional Testing, Integration testing and behavior driven testing.
Must have API automation testing knowledge. Knowledge of web-based testing through standard testing software (like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Gherkin etc.) is a huge add-on.
Has to perform Automation for Quality Control of critical aspects. Should achieve Regression and Integration Testing through Automation
Candidate should be able to interact with different products and also communicate effectively with both development and product management teams
Candidate will be involved in implementations from the start and should also create test cases specific to that implementation
Will practice Agile approach to Quality Control and Assurance
Has to deal with risk mitigation for production setups
Collaborate with various functional experts
Understand requirements and implement test execution
Closely work with developers to train them in better testing of their work

Requirements:

Experience required is 0 to 1 year
Experience in writing and executing functional & non-functional test plans/cases within agile environment
Good knowledge of Integration testing is required
Good knowledge of automation testing products required
Knowledge of Load Testing will be an added advantage
Basic on one programming language like Java or Python is required
Good knowledge of OWASP will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Security Testing products will be an added advantage
Good knowledge of Bug Management Software required
Understanding of Agile Release Management required
Must be aware of Code Reviews
Knowledge of Basic SQL commands for data querying required
Experience recommending process improvements for test efficiencies
Familiarity with software quality assurance processes and software testing best practices
Must have API Testing knowledge
Good to have database testing knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify programming errors or inconsistencies
