Job Description:
- Supervise preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities of mines equipment.
- Ensure that preventive maintenance of equipment is carried out as per the schedule and check list.
- Attend to break down of the equipment and assess the requirement of man power and material.
- Carry out the maintenance of critical parts along with mechanics and solve the specific problem of equipment
- Ensure that safe practices are followed as per company standards during maintenance time
- Maintain all records of the maintenance activities and record in a log book
- Maintain housekeeping near garage
- Supervise and maintain record of tyre replacement activity
- Inspected all indented material/spares at stores after receipt
- Attend to any other activities as per the instructions of garage in charge/mines manager
