Job Description:
- Delivery and support of end user and workspace technology to JD staff across all John Deere locations.
- Hardware standardization, break-fix support, refresh, and upgrade activities.
- Asset management for Desktops, Laptops, Monitors & other mobile devices & accessories.
- Manage & maintain device procurement such as Laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc.
- Perform ordering, installation, and maintenance of physical computers, thin clients, monitors, and related hardware and software. Install and support desktop IP telephony and telecommunications equipment.
- Actively update and maintain inventory management, request, incident, and purchasing systems. Ensure all systems are properly documented and updated with the latest troubleshooting techniques.
- Understand the evolving technology needs of the business units in the offices/floors of support. Provide custom technology-based solutions for the organization as needed.
- Build strong relationships with the Vendor & business staff, acting as a trusted advisor for technology solutions and adoption of technology.
- Possess the ability to work independently using their own initiative but equally be comfortable working within a team environment for workspace solutions.
- Understand and meet customer needs with a can-do attitude while managing expectations
- Proactively communicate to stakeholders who have a reliance on work done.
- Maintain an up-to-date level of knowledge pertaining to security policies and company standards.
- Maintain documentation related to configuration, processes, asset inventories, support contacts, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, logistics, or similar relevant fields.
