Job Description:

Design and development of new functionality and enhancement of existing products following company processes and architectural standards.
Writing well designed, testable and efficient code following SOLID principles.
Contributing in all phases of the software development life-cycle including troubleshooting and fixing problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Deploying the company’s software products onto clients systems.

Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of design and development of Java web applications in a commercial organisation following agile principles.
Experience of developing web application using Spring Core, MVC and REST.
Proven working experience with Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (such as JPA, Spring Data, Hibernate).
Proven working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, HTML and JSP.
Unit testing with JUnit and a mocking framework such as Mockito.
Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.
Familiarity with version control with Git and issue tracking with JIRA.
