Job Description:
- Design and development of new functionality and enhancement of existing products following company processes and architectural standards.
- Writing well designed, testable and efficient code following SOLID principles.
- Contributing in all phases of the software development life-cycle including troubleshooting and fixing problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
- Resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Deploying the company’s software products onto clients systems.
Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of design and development of Java web applications in a commercial organisation following agile principles.
- Experience of developing web application using Spring Core, MVC and REST.
- Proven working experience with Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (such as JPA, Spring Data, Hibernate).
- Proven working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, HTML and JSP.
- Unit testing with JUnit and a mocking framework such as Mockito.
- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.
- Familiarity with version control with Git and issue tracking with JIRA.
