WCL Recruitment 2023: Coal India Limited (CIL) is an Indian state-controlled coal mining company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is the largest coal producer company in the world and contributes around 82% of the coal production in India.
It produced 494.24 million tonnes of coal during FY2014–15 and earned a revenue of ₹954.35 billion (US$14 billion) from sale of coal in the same financial year. As on 14 October 2015, Union Government of India owns 79.65% of the shares in CIL and controls the operations of CIL through Ministry of Coal.

Experience: Freshers
Stipend:
- For One Year : Rs. 7700/- Per Month
- For Two Years ITI : Rs. 8050/- Per Month
- For Freshers : Rs. 6000/- Per Month
Eligibility Criteria for WCL Recruitment 2023
Trade Apprentices/ ITI Apprentices:
Candidates must complete ITI in the concerned trade from a recognized board/ Institute.
Fresher (Security Guard) Apprentices:
Candidates should complete 10th Class under 10+2 pattern from a recognized board.
Applicants are NOT ELIGIBLE in any one of the cases below:
- Candidates have passed qualifying examination before 30/06/2017
- Candidates have undertaken any previous training
- Candidates have undergoing presently Apprenticeship Training at any establishment (Or)
- Candidates have in the employment elsewhere (Or)
- Candidates age must be minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 16-09-2023
