Job Description:

Reviewing contract drawings and specifications.
Preparation of design / engineering activities and preparation of design/shop drawings and liaison Contractors as necessary.
Co-ordination with Project Manager to provide solutions affecting design development and co-ordination matters.
Preparation and review of design changes.
Providing detailed drawings, sketches and other project information to assist in the finalization, approval and installation on site.
Leading a team of Cad Operators/draughtsman.
Estimation of materials quantities required at site based on shop drawings produced.
Ensuring that all drawing and material submittals are submitted as programme of works.
Scrutiny of tender documents.
Evaluating tender documents, drawings & schedules.
Delegating draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities.
Estimation of Material Cost and Labour Man Hours based on the Tender documents.
