Education for VISA Recruitment 2022 :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Must have 6 Months to 3 Years of IT experience in relevant technologies
• Fundamental knowledge in information security and hardening
• Fundamental IP network knowledge
• Basic knowledge or experience on Windows/UNIX/Linux Server OS.
• Basic knowledge or experience on Application servers such as Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, WebLogic
• Basic knowledge or experience on web servers such as Apache, IIS, IBM IHS
• Basic experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Ksh, Csh, Perl, Python, Jython
• Fundamentals concepts of database and distributed NoSQL databases and SQL knowledge.
• Analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and problem solving
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to write scripts/programs to automate tasks is a plus
• Able to work with team to resolve challenging issues
• Strong execution and analytical abilities
• College level computer programming knowledge

Job Description:

This requirement is for the Operations & Infrastructure Group, which is responsible for keeping VISA Applications and Systems running round the clock As part of team, will be responsible for supporting critical and real time VISA services. We are looking for engineers who cherish automating  and reduce manual workload, engineers who are passionate about systems/applications support and engineers who flourish ‘finding the needle in haystack’ when determining root cause around operational issues. If you have exceptional troubleshooting skills, want to deep dive into the world of managing applications across complex platforms, this role is tailor made for you.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Learn and develop to be a subject matter expert of multiple applications and take on the responsibility of ensuring the application is Highly Secure, Highly Available and performing at the expected levels.
•  Proactively Identify repeated day to day work, Use scripting methodologies and automate to reduce manual work
• Demonstrate the ability to gauge the scope and criticality of impact in the defined period of time and take appropriate actions to reduce overall impact.
• Take ownership of problems, Collaborate and Communicate with all partners to fix any bugs.
• Be the gatekeeper for production change or maintenance activities. Ensure all changes are compliant with Visa rules and  can be implemented without the risk of availability or performance impacts in production.
• Provide use case documentation and requirements for new projects and form partnerships with others to ensure the requirements are met.
• Review and develop selfheal procedures for repeated alerts in production, reducing time spent by engineers on alerts.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the uptime of VISA’s products to customers
• Opportunities to work with industry leading technology in virtualization, cloud computing and configuration automation (includes operating systems such as RHEL, Windows & cutting-edge containers Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible).
• Participate in designing innovative solutions for highly secure and available environments (includes latest Database & Middleware tools such as application servers (tcServer, tomcat, IBM WebSphere), web servers (IIS, Apache, NGINX), Messaging (MQ, Kafka) MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL, Cassandra, Redis)
• Work with other partners in the organization such as support, development, and user groups to manage requests from the perspective of infrastructure design and functionality.
• Participate in designing innovative solutions for Big Data (HADOOP)
• Work with vendors on software upgrades and problems
• Lead problem resolution and improvement efforts
• Drive constant interaction with developers, architects, and project managers
• Installing, maintaining, and upgrading cloud systems and subsystems
• Installing, maintaining, and upgrading various third-party software tools.
• Working with other support, development, and user groups to manage requests from the perspective of infrastructure design and functionality.
• Working with vendors on hardware/software upgrades and problems.
• Aiding applications and operations teams with problem determination.
