Job Description:
- Review material planning requirements (MRP) and validate MRP messages related to purchased materials.
- Manage PO or scheduling agreement placement and obtain PO confirmations from Suppliers.
- Manage PO delivery schedules and suppliers performance to ensure on time delivery in full in support of internal production schedules.
- Plan and manage consigned / optimum inventory program / Kanban and/or other. inventory levels to achieve inventory turns targets
- Provide resolution to shortage, delivery or quality issues by developing contingency plans or escalating, as needed, to resolve issues.
- Coordinate supplier quality issues including QN tracking and clearing with other functional groups as appropriate.
Analyze and resolve administrative issues including invoicing issues, non-standard charges, and freight charge back. - Maintenance of Part Number attributes in ERP system and Supplier Data integrity in ERP system.
- Coordinate Engineering Changes / ECO effectivity dates / Deviation requests with the Suppliers.
- Knowledge of SAP (PP / MM Module).
- Good Communication.
- Exposure to international Procurement.
