Eligibility Criteria:
For Junior Scientific Officer:
- Candidates should complete M.Sc Microbiology or M.Sc Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology or M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agriculture Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized university or institute.
For Regional Home Economist:
- Master’s Degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension or Sociology or Home Science Extension from a recognized Agricultural University. OR
- Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) from a recognized University
- Experience: 03 years of experience in agricultural extension work in any University or recognized Institution
For Scientist ‘B’ (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Electrica/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institute
- Experience: 03 years of experience in the relevant engineering
- Pay Scale: Level 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
For Scientist ‘B’ (Geo-Physics):
- Master’s Degree in GeoPhysics from a recognized University or Institute.
- Experience: 03 years of experience in the field of Geo-Physics
- Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Upper Age Limit:
- For Junior Scientific Officer: 30 years
- For Regional Home Economist: 38 years
- For Scientist ‘B’ (Engineering): 35 years
- For Scientist ‘B’ (Geo-Physics): 38 years
Selection Process:
- Selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Interview.
- In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview, the candidate will have to achieve a minimum level of suitability in their respective category at the interview stage.
Minimum Qualifying Marks for Interview out of 100 marks:
- UR/ EWS Category – 50 marks
- OBC Category – 45 marks
- SC/ ST/ PH Category – 40 marks
