Job Description:
- Expert in CATIA V5 – 3D modeling (Concept to production release), 2D drawings, assembly
- Good knowledge of automotive systems (Core Transmission Gearbox, Clutch system, Gears, Manual & Auto Transmission, Shifter mechanism )
- Design guidelines, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, GD &T, VAVE
- Must have experience in Design Core Transmission Gearbox, Clutch system, Gears, Manual & Auto Transmission, Shifter mechanism )
- DMU management, integrating vehicle systems & project coordination with various teams.
- Developing / tracking / maintaining detailed timing plans for the components / systems
- Supplier interaction, CFT co ordination, Technical presentations, Reviews & decision meetings, Project status
- Conceptualize & detailed design of Transmission systems, meeting cost weight & functional targets
- Reviewing existing benchmarking data and obtaining new data as required Benchmark reports preparation
- Verification of the detail designs for prototype building
- Responsible for CAD sign-off, BOM creation/ management, Production design release & requirement compliance
- Conduct/ participate regular design reviews and escalate issues requiring help to management
- Supplier interaction, CFT co ordination, Technical presentations
- Recording & maintaining Design Quality & Targets
- Workout modularization & standardization proposals
- Goodknowledge of manufacturing process & Materials
- Technical documentation & design change analysis
- Strong analytical skill, root cause analysis
