Salary: The selected candidates will be: provisionally placed with a starting Basic Pay of Rs. 17,420 /- pm in the grade of NS 07 (Rs. 17420-525 27920 pm). The other emoluments and benefits will be as per Company’s rule applicable to this grade. Candidates possessing 4 years or more ofrelevant experience will be compensated as per norms.
Eligibilty Criteria:
- Three (3) years full time diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Mechatronics/ Chemical/ Power Plant/ Production Engineering from any institute, recognized by AICTE.
- Certificate of Boiler Operation Engineer flom competent authority is desirable for openings for power plant operations.
- Diploma holders in above disciplines from R D Tata Technical Education Centre, Jamshedpur and J N Tata Technical Education Centre. Gopalpur are also eligible to apply.
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of work experience (as on October 1, 2017) after acquiring the Diploma qualification. Experience of Operations/ Maintenance in Manufacturing / Steel Plant / Power Plant brill be given preference.
- Marks: Candidate must have secured a minimum 55% marks aggregate for General candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates, in Diploma Examination.
- Age: Should have been born on or acer I” October 1985 for General Candidates & on and after lst October 1982 for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Procedure:
Written Test followed by an Interview and Medical examination.
Candidates who are found ineligible as per the laid down criteria, at any stage of the selection process, will be immediately disqualified from further selection process.
Note: All candidates, who qualify in the written test and are permanent employees of any of the
Tata Group Company or Subsidiary or Associate Company of Tata Steel Ltd. will need to bring their NOC at the time of interview, without which they will not be interviewed.
