Want to shape the future of electrical power transmission? Join our Energy management division as a Design Engineer and help us in overcoming the challenges of the industry with your expert knowledge in Sub-stations.
We make real what matters
- In this exciting role you will be required to work on basic and detailed engineering for High Voltage sub-stations of both Air Insulated (AIS) and Gas Insulated (GIS) types, up to 765KV AC
- You should be well versed in relay selection and Electrical schematics of protection panels.
- You should able to prepare cable schedule independently. Based on such requirements, you will be required to, develop concepts & solutions to be delivered on turnkey basis
- You will be required to interact with various internal and external partners. The internal partners include our different business units who partner us with their products and solutions. External partners
What you need to make real what matters
- You are a diploma/graduate in electrical engineering with 2-3 years of experience in design and engineering of electrical sub-stations of 66KV or higher voltages, AIS or GIS types for customers like national or state utilities
- You should be conversant with the different arrangements of sub-stations, connection schemes, various sizing calculations required selection of equipment and materials, control and protection systems
- You should be conversant with the relevant Indian and international (IEC/IEEE) standards applicable to sub-stations
- You should be able to use CAD tools, primarily AutoCAD, to prepare drawings and designs
