Technical Profile:
- Mechanical Engineer with 2 to 8 years of Design Engineering experience. Knowledge of aero engines is preferred.
- Has prior experience of being involved in design solutions for Aero Engine components.
- Experience in non conformance disposition will be an added advantage.
- Should have a liking to work with multi-functional / multi-regional team.
- You will possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Role Profile: Investigate the non conformance that is reported to design team. Non conformance can be due to dimensional deviations, manufacturing process deviations or material specification deviation.
- Review the impact of non conformance on Fit, Form and Function
- Perform tolerance stack up calculations as required
- Assess the affect of non conformance on mating components
- Propose sentencing category
- Propose disposition action (Use As Is, Scrap, Repair)
- Propose the need for specialist assessment (where required)
- Review the non conformance investigation results with Design Approve
- Present the investigation solution to Non Conformance Authority
