Education for Qualcomm Recruitment 2022:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 0-3 years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications Basics of processor architecture, Multicore/Multiprocessor with SMP/heterogenous cores.
- C language expertise for low level programming, Assembly language for any processor, C-assembly interworking
- Using JTAG based debuggers, compilers/linkers
- Should have good exposure to software development life cycle-Exposure to SoC architecture paradigms interconnects, power management,
- Software development for silicon enablement, silicon validation
- Good knowledge of ARM v7/v8 memory system architecture, buses. Knowledge of SOC architectures desired.
- The ideal candidate has good communication skills, is motivated and is a self-starter. Can learn continuously
Job Description:
Debug silicon samples that have failed system level tests, with a view to root cause underlying h/w issue afflicting the failed samples. Work with experts from h/w design, design validation, content development teams and s/w in a matrix environment to ensure issues are root caused and quality metrics are arrived at.
