Punjab Wakf Board is a statutory body constituted by the Department of Home, Government of Punjab under the Wakf Act 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995) several Masjids , Kabristans , Dargahs etc. are registered with this Board in addition to the wakf properties.

The functions of the Punjab Wakf Board are: (1)General Superintendence of all Wakfs institutions and their properties in the State ,(2) to exercise powers under the Wakf Act so as to ensure that the Wakfs under its superintendence are properly maintained, controlled and administered and the income thereof is duly applied to the objects for which such Wakfs are created or intended.

Eligibility Criteria :

Education Qualification: 

Accounts Clerk:

Candidates must possess B.Com from a recognized University.

Section officer/ Estate Officer: 

Candidates must complete Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.

Rent Collector: 

Candidates must complete Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.

Legal Support Assistants: 

Candidates must possess LLB from a recognized University.

Senior Assistants: 

Candidates must complete Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.

Peon: 

Candidates who complete 12th Class are eligible to apply for this post.

For all the posts except peon, candidates must possess possess at least 120 Hours working experience
in computer application from Recognized Institution or a certificate of ‘O’ Level from the
Department Electronic Accreditation of Computer course (DOEACC);

Age limit(As on 01.07.2020):

Candidates age must be in between 18 to 37 years as on 01-07-2020. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based purely on the merit in the written test, Interview and skill test (except for the post of peon).
