Eligibility Criteria for Ola Cabs Recruitment 2021:
- BE/ B.Tech – Computer Science/ IT
- No. of years – 2+ years
- Type of experience – development experience in a product firm.
- Must have designed at least 1 project in his previous assignments
- Should be ready to work as a Full Stack engineer, although relevant experience is not mandatory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Code, develop and design features related to the existing application. We expect you to own sub-modules/modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship.
- Lead from the front, when it comes to delivering high quality work products. Serve as a mentor to the team members
- Create and define performance metrics. Ideate, innovate and hack through the existing systems to improve performance.
- Perform code reviews, set coding practices and guidelines within the team.
- Make sense of the product specs, be nimble in getting the issues resolved.
- Play an integral role in owning the technology vision of the respective team and significantly contribute to the overall success of the team by timely delivery of the feature
Minimum Competencies:-
- Ability to learn and grow in a fast paced setup
- Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with peers during the entire SDLC.
- Write maintainable/scalable/efficient code.
- Follow coding standards, unit-testing, code reviews etc.
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Good knowledge on Data Structures and Algorithm is a must
- Follow release cycles and commitment to deadlines.
Skills:-
- Java/ any other object oriented programming language
- Excellent coding skills in Java/ any other object oriented programming language
- Knowledge of any one databases -RDBMS / non relational DB is a must
- Good understanding of any messaging queue is a plus
- Good understanding of Web Technologies.
- Experience with scalable systems handling large amounts of data is a plus.
