National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA) was established as a registered society on 2nd September 1974 by Department of Science & Technology, based on a Union Cabinet approval dated December 13, 1973. The objective of organisation being undertaking and facilitating remote sensing activities in the country. Since the initial emphasis was on aerial surveys, NRSA took over the works and functions of Research Flight Facility of the Ministry of Defence.
The NRSA Society’s governing body was chaired by none other than the then Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. NRSA started functioning from hired premises in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh from mid April 1975.

Qualification:
First Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering /Technology in the respective disciplines with 65% marks or above
Bachelors Degree + First Class Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science

Computer Science & Engineering (TA02) – 09 Posts

Qualifications: First Class Diploma (3 years duration) in Engineering in the respective disciplines
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years as on 06.03.2016. Age relaxation as per Government of India Orders are applicable in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Stipend:
Graduate Apprentices – ₹ 5,000 per month
Technician Apprentices – ₹ 3,542 per month
Duration: The duration of training will be One year from the date of joining
