MPMKVVCL was incorporated as a wholly owned Government Company on 31st May 2002, under the Companies Act 1956, the same has been notified vide order No. 5555/RS/4/13/2001 dated 1st July, 2002 of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The Company undertakes the activities of distribution and retail supply in the areas covered by the Commissionaries of Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior and Chambal. The Company obtained certificate of commencement of business on 16th July 2002 from Registrar of Companies, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, Gwalior.
The Government of Madhya Pradesh vide its order no. 2671/12/13 dated 29th March, 2012 had transferred all the shares of the Company to M. P. Power Management Company Limited and subsequently our Company is now a subsidiary of M. P. Power Management Company Limited, Jabalpur.

Salary:
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical / IT): Rs. 43,848 Per month
- Junior Engineer ( Electrical / T&D-Network): Rs.29,148 Per month
- Chartered Accountant: Rs. 46,284 Per month
- Line Attendant: Rs. 16,412 Per month
Eligibility Criteria:
Assistant Engineer(Electrical):
- The candidate should be having regular BE/B.Tech. or AMIE in “Electrical” or “Electrical and Electronics” engineering from a university/ institution recognized by University Grant Commission/AICTE.
- Minimum 6, 5 % marks or 6,5 CGPA in aggregate in BE/BTech/AMIE in case of Unreserved/ OBC candidates. Minimum 55 % marks or 5.5 CGPA in BE/BTech/AMIE in case of SC/ST categories candidates having caste certificate of SDO (R) of MP.
Assistant Engineer (IT):
- The candidate should be having regular BE/B.Tech or AMIE in “Computer Science” or “Information Technology” engineering from a university/institution recognized by University Grant Commission/AICTE.
- OCA or higher certificates for Java/Oracle database 11g/Oracle forms and reports/Oracle EBSISOA/Weblogic OR Microsoft Certified Solution Associate for Dot Net/SQL Server/Window Server OR Associate Android Developer Certification
- Minimum 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate in BE/BTech/AMIE in case of unreserved/ OBC candidates of MP Domicile and candidates of all categories not having MP Domicile.Minimum 55 % marks or 5.5 CGPA in BE/BTech/AMIE in case of SUSTcategories candidates having caste certificate of SDO (R)of MP.
Junior Engineer(Electrical):
- The candidate should be having Regular Diploma in “Electrical” or “Electrical and Electronics” Engineering from a recognized University/ Polytechnic college. Those with higher qualification i.e. graduate degree in “Electrical” or “Electrical and Electronics” Engineering from recognized Institute/ University by UGC/ AICTE or AMIE may also apply.
- 65% or 6.5 CUPA minimum in aggregate in Diploma/ Degree in case of Unreserved / OBC category candidates.55% or 5.5 CGPA minimum in aggregate in Diploma/ Degree for SC/ST category having caste certificate of SDO (R) of MP.
JE ( T&D- Network):
- The candidate should be having regular Diploma /BE/B.Tech or AMIE in “Computer Science” or “Information Technology” engineering from a Board/university/institution recognized by University Grant Commission/AICTE/CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JCNIA/ JINICIS/ACIP
- Minimum 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate in Diploma/Degree in case of unreserved! OBC candidates of MP Domicile and candidates of all categories not having MP Domicile.Minimum 55 % marks or 5.5 CGPA in Diploma/Degree case of SC/ST categories candidates having caste certificate of SDO (R) of MP.
Chartered Accountant:
- The candidate should be having Bachelor Degree and should be certified CA from ICAI
- Minimum 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate in Bachelor Degree in case of unreserved! OBC candidates.Minimum 55 % marks or 5.5 CGPA in Bachelor Degree in case of SC/ST categories candidates having caste certificate of SDO (R) of MP.
Line Attendant:
- The candidate should be 10th passed and 2 years ITI course passed from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute in Electrical/Lineman/ wire man trade or having Overhead wireman certificate
- Minimum 55% marks in le for UR/OBC Candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates having caste certificate of SDO (R) of MP.
- The Post of Line Attendant is only for MP Domicile Candidates.
Age limit (As on 1.7.2107):
- AE(Electrical), AE(IT), CA: 21 to 35 Years(For MP Domicile 40 years)
- JE (Electrical), JE(T&D-Network): 18 to 35 Years(For MP Domicile 40 years)
- Line Attendant: 18 to 23 Years (Age Relaxation as per government policy)
Selection Process:
The selection process is based on the online test.
For AE (Electrical):
- The selection will be done on the basis of VALID GATE SCORECARD (i.e. 2015, 2016 or 2017) in Electrical Engineering for AE(Electrical) and weightage of experience for working in any successor company of MPSEB on regular or Contract basis as AE or JE.
- Merit List will be prepared by MP Online adding 80% score of Gate Score and the weightage of experience.
For AE (IT), JE (T &D-Network), Chartered Accountant, JE (Electrical) and Line Attendant:
- The recruitment shall be done by conducting online examinations of 100
objective type questions (3 marks each) with total 300 marks, no negative marking for wrong answers will be done, The online examination will be conducted by MP Online. - The weightage of experience will be given to the candidates having experience in the relevant field in for working in any successor company of MPSEB on regular or Contract basis on the equivalent post. Weightage of experience @ 4% (15 marks) per year maximum of 20% (75 marks) for 5 years or more experience will be given on pro rata basis.
- In the recruitment of AE (IT), the weightage for experience of working as JE on regular or contract shall be given ( 2% (7.5 marks) per year maximum of 10% (37.5 marks) for 5years or more will be given to the candidates.
Line Attendant:
- The candidates of Line Attendant shall have to pass a Physical test apart from online test
- The Physical test will comprise of walking one km carrying 15 kg weight in 10 minutes and climbing up & down pole with the help of ladder with toolkit rope swing in 2 minutes.
Note: The minimum qualifying marks in the online academic assessment test shall be 55% for Unreserved/OBC category candidates and 45% for SC/ST/Handicapped category candidates of MP Domicile.
