Job Description:
- Bargaining and Purchasing skill of indigenous materials
- Skill to convert PR to inquiry for vendors (RFQ)
- Skill to negotiate with existing suppliers for development of new components and modification of existing
- Skill to develop new local suppliers
- Able to maintain documentation required as per procedure / standard.
Critical Task to Be Performed:
- Plan and carry out supplier upgradation and improvements in close coordination with the suppliers
- Audit the suppliers and monitor the action plan
- Monitor the performance of the suppliers
- Resolve quality issues and work in close coordination with the suppliers for the same
- Rejection monitoring, disposal and control
- Handle and improve quality systems of the department
- Face QMS and customer audits
