Eligibility Criteria for Microchip Recruitment 2023:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/IT/Computers Science Engineering or equivalent
- Must have minimum 2-4 years- hands on development experience using Java/J2EE with Spring framework
- Preferred hibernate, JavaScript
- Good knowledge in RDBMS (MySQL/MariaDB)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Taking complete ownership of deliverables and provide regular update
- Good understanding and work experience in JSON, JSON Schema, REST API
- Understanding of networking basics
- Hosting Java application on AWS cloud is value add-on
- Working knowledge of Telecom EMS/NMS/OSS and SDN is value add -on
- Knowledge of management protocols such as SNMP, NETCONF, YANG Data modelling is value add-on
Job Description:
Microchip is world’s leading source of precise timing and synchronization solutions. We are looking for a “Engineer 1 – Software” level having 2 – 4 years of experience in software development in our Bangalore location. The successful candidate is responsible for design and develop software for our EMS/NMS product.
Job Responsibilities:
- Individual Contributor and team player
- Development of User Interface capabilities, software functionality, including design, implementation, developer level tests and supports
- Taking part in developing a complex web-based architecture
- Developing software feature(s) according to design document and enterprise software standards
- Design and develop for development on multiple platforms, database and application servers
- Work on collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spring, methodology and tools
- Interface with various R&D groups within organization
- Candidates should preferable be from telecom domain and from a product based company (Optional)
- Candidates having knowledge on AWS cloud (Optional)
- Candidates should preferably have knowledge on YANG data modelling
