To implement the Lucknow Metro Rail Project, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) was incorporated on 25.11.2013 under the Companies Act, 1956. The certificate of commencement of business was issued on 24.12.2013. This Company is jointly owned by GoI and GoUP. The authorized capital of the Company is Rs 2000 Cr.

Eligibility Criteria :
For Assistant Manager (Civil)/(Electrical)/ (S&T):
- BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
For Assistant Manager (Accounts):
- CA or ICWA from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. No minimum percentage of marks is required.
For Assistant Manager (HR):
- MBA (HR) or PGDM(HR) or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with minimum of 60% marks for candidates applying for Unreserved vacancies
For Assistant Manager (Public Relations):
- Master of Mass Communication and Journalism or Masters in Journalism or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
For Jr Engineer (Civil)/(Electrical)/ (S&T):
- Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics/Electronics & Communication or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute
For Public Relation Assistant:
- Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication & Journalism or in Journalism or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
Note: Minimum marks in the required educational qualification for various categories will be 60% for candidates applying for UR, EWS & OBC vacancies and 50% marks for candidates applying for vacancies reserved for SC/ST.

Selection Process:
For Assistant Manager (Civil)/(Electrical)/ (S&T):
- The selection will comprise of two stages – written test, followed by document verification & Medical examination in Executive (Technical) category.
For Assistant Manager (Accounts)/ (HR):
- The selection will comprise of two stages – written test followed by document verification & Medical examination in Executive (Non-Technical) category.
For Jr Engineer (Civil)/(Electrical)/ (S&T):
- The selection will comprise of two stages – written test followed by document verification & Medical examinations in Aye-Three (A-3) category.
For Public Relation Assistant:
- The selection will comprise of two stages – written test followed by document verification & Medical examinations in Cee-One (C-1) category.
Scheme of Written Test:
- The written test will be objective type online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode exam for all the posts.
- The question paper will be bilingual i.e in English and Hindi.
- It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions on General English to judge the knowledge of English language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and/ knowledge of the discipline/trade.
- There will be a total of 140 questions for categories Assistant Manager, Junior Engineer, Public Relation Assistant. Each carrying equal marks.
- There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
- The Paper shall be of 2 hours duration.

- UR & OBC candidates: Rs.590/- for each post
- SC/ST candidates: Rs.236/- for each post
