Eligibility Criteria for Lloyds Metals Off Campus Drive 2026:
- BE/ B.Tech in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering (Freshers or up to 1 year experience)
- Hiring Batch: 2024 and 2025
Job Description:
Mechanical Engineering:
- Assist in operation, maintenance, and inspection of mechanical equipment in ISP such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, valves, and rotating equipment.
- Support senior engineers in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities under supervision.
- Monitor equipment performance, vibrations, leakages, and abnormal conditions and report deviations.
- Assist in preparation and updating of maintenance logs, job cards, checklists, and reports.
- Follow safety procedures, work permits, PPE usage, and EHS guidelines at all times.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, operations, and contractor teams during maintenance work.
- Support implementation of 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Learn and comply with SOPs, OEM manuals, and plant standards.
- Participate in technical training, audits, and safety drills.
Automobile Engineering:
To develop technical and operational competency in automobile systems used in an Integrated Steel Plant, including heavy motor vehicles (HMVs), light motor vehicles (LMVs), earth-moving equipment, and plant transportation systems, while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with ISO standards.
