KRCL Recruitment Notification 2022: The Konkan Railway is a subsidiary zone of the Indian Railways. It is one of the 17 zones of the Indian Railways but without any divisional structure unlike other railways zones in India. It is operated by Konkan Railway Corporation, headquartered at CBD Belapur in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The first passenger train ran on Konkan railway tracks on 20 March 1993 between Udupi and Mangalore

Eligibility Criteria for KRCL Recruitment Notification 2022:

Deputy Chief Engineer /Project:

• JAG (Jr. Administrative Grade): Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen of sound health. The applicant should have work experience in Projects of Indian Railways/Indian Railway PSUs/Highways/Metro of minimum 10 years of regular service in Executive cadre. Graduate candidate should have more than 14 years experience. Candidates with Masters Degree should have more than 12 years in Civil Engineering works. Experience as Officer in Indian Railways/PSEs of Indian Railways will be preferred. Personnel who have retired from IR/PSEs of IR can also apply
• SG (Selection Grade): Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen of sound health. The applicant should have work experience in Projects of Indian Railways/Indian Railway PSUs/Highways, of minimum 14 years of regular service in Executive cadre. Graduate candidate should have more than 25 years experience. Candidates with Masters Degree should have more than 20 years in Civil Engineering works. Experience as Officer in Indian Railways/PSEs of Indian Railways will be preferred. Personnel who have retired from IR/PSEs of IR can also apply.

Assistant Engineer:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent with not less than 55% marks from recognized (AICTE) university. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen of sound health. The applicant should have work experience of minimum 7 years in Construction of Bridges (Major & Important) in Railway / Metro / Highway Sectors.

Project Engineer:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent with not less than 55% marks from recognized (AICTE) university. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen of sound health. The applicant should have work experience of minimum 6 years in Construction of Bridges (Major & Important) in Railway / Highway Sectors

Sr. Technical Assistant:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent with not less than 55% marks from recognized (AICTE) university with minimum 3 years of experience in Construction of Bridges (Major & Important) in Railway/ Highway Sectors. OR Master of Engineering /Technology (Civil) or its equivalent with not less than 55% marks from recognized (AICTE) university with minimum 2 years of experience in Construction of Bridges (Major & Important) in Railway/ Metro/ Highway Sectors.

Age Limit:

• Deputy Chief Engineer/ Project – 62 years
• Assistant Engineer – 45 years
• Project Engineer – 45 years
• Sr. Technical Assistant – 35 years

Selection Process for KRCL Recruitment Notification 2022:

• The candidates shall arrive at the time and venue and get registered with the nominated KRCL official for the walk-in interview as indicated. Group Discussion (GD) or any other elimination round, can be introduced depending on the number of candidates and those candidates who get through in the elimination round will be called for interview.
• The candidate will be interviewed by a nominated Committee and the selection will be finalized on merit based on the performance in the interview, qualification and post qualification experience gained by the Candidate. The decision of the Nominated Committee of KRCL shall be final and binding.
