Job Description:
Engineer in R&D create and concretize ideas in KONE Technology projects into finalized designs. He/she creates innovative and competitive solutions for new elevator/escalator products or components in line with KONE Solution Creation Processes and KONE Guidelines.
Engineers working in PCM execute problem solving actions to respond quickly to urgent PCM related problems in business units. He/she assists the PCM Manager to analyses change requests and creates detailed proposals of changes in specific technology area such as component design, strength calculations, tool and systems, layout drawings system behavior.
Engineers are typically responsible for single components. The scope of this role will depend on the project, its size and complexity and the relevant business process.
