Job Description:

• Should be able design and develop assemblies and components for Domestic appliances & Consumer Products
• Able to work on concept layouts
• Should be well conversant in the CAD tool (CREO)
• Should be well versed in advance surface modelling (CLASS-A Surfacing)
• Should be able to carry out basic design calculations
• Should have basic understanding of finite element analysis.
• Should be able to carry out GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Should be aware of DFMAS (Design for manufacturability, assembly & serviceability) and also design for environment
• Should be knowledgeable about manufacturing processes preferably plastic, sheet metal, and various casting processes
• Should have basic knowledge about the tool design & development for different manufacturing processes
• Should have basic knowledge of manufacturing engineering and Jigs/fixtures design
• Should be knowledgeable about reverse engineering methods
• Should be knowledgeable about quality control & inspection methods
• He should be able to work with Windchill PLM and data management systems
