BE/ B.Tech – Computers/ Electronics Engineering.
- As a Technical Coach for the Foundry at John Deere India, will be responsible for working with the product teams coming to the Foundry during the immersion phase.
- The person in this position will work closely with development teams performing embedded coaching, pairing, mobbing, disseminating best practices technical practices – DevOps Practices, mindset, branching strategy, test automation, configuration management and deployment pipeline enablement.
- This position is required to – Builds process and technical development skills in others. Looks for process improvement in delivery of applications and process definition opportunities and leads others in adhering to technical processes and contributing to their improvement.
- Ensures quality by adhering to standards in development, testing and, quality methodologies assuring integration with other systems.
- Drives automation into all aspects of the build and release process, increasing quality and driving best practices into the teams they will work with.
- Measure the impact of change to code quality. Innovate constantly, keep up with industry standards, tools and software development methodologies.
- This position also is critical to changing culture of entrenched developers. Make process changes between development organization and infrastructure teams.
- Choosing tools and best practices to enable fast, high quality delivery of customer value across Global IT requires deep analysis of problems at a low level, and process definition to implement and measure increased value with distinctive quality.
- Evaluate, design and help implement software solutions to development teams.
- Hands-on Experience in following skills with in-depth experience in one of the below technical skills.
- Spring Boot/Node.js
- AWS/Microsoft Azure
- RDS & NoSql
- Microservices/Serverless/Disconnected/API First etc. Architecture
- Jenkin/Drone/Microsoft Azure DevOps, Git, App Dynamics, Splunk, Docker/Containerization, Terraform etc.
- Good Designing & problem solving skills
- Good experience with test automations, refactoring, TDD & DevOps etc. practices.
- Technical certifications – AWS, Java, DevOps etc.
- Technical Coaching experience in Agile, Product Development etc.
- Ability to apply Agile/lean principles practically
- Ability to lead key transformation engagements, i.e. rolling out Agile, DevOps to projects/domains and train/mentor team and individuals
- Passion for driving/leading transformation in line with Organization’s strategy
- Experience with DevOps principles and tools
