Pay Scale:

• Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ / Medical Officer ‘SC’: Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/- PM
• Medical Officer ‘SD’: Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/- PM

Eligibility Criteria:

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Chemical Engineering):

• BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Chemical Engineering):

• ME/ M.Tech or equivalent post graduate degree in Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%
• BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Engineering):

• ME/ M.Tech or equivalent post graduate degree in Industrial Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%
• BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Civil Engineering /Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Power Systems):

• ME/ M.Tech or equivalent post graduate degree in Power Systems in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%
• BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Electrical & Electronics Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Safety):

• ME/ M.Tech or equivalent post graduate degree in Industrial Safety in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%
• BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering / Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Machine Design/ Engineering Design):

• ME/ M.Tech or equivalent post graduate degree in Machine Design/Engineering Design in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%
• BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Structural Engineering):

• ME/ M.Tech or equivalent post graduate degree in Structural Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%
• BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks

Medical Officer ‘SC’ (Paediatrics):

• MBBS + Diploma in Paediatrics (Child Health) (Two years duration) recognized and registered with Medical Council of India

Medical Officer ‘SD’ (Paediatrics):

• MBBS + MD/ DNB in Paediatrics (Child Health) recognized and registered with
  Medical Council of India

Medical Officer ‘SC’ (Ophthalmology):

• MBBS + Diploma in Ophthalmology (Two years duration) recognized and registered with Medical Council of India

Medical Officer ‘SD’ (Ophthalmology):

• MBBS + MD/ MS/ DNB in Ophthalmology recognized and registered with Medical Council of India

Selection Process:

For Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’:

• Selection is based on the Written Test and Interview

Scheme of selection process:

• Written Test consists of objective type questions based on academic curriculum of B.E/B.Tech (or) M.E/M.Tech as applicable.
• Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview
• Those who secure minimum 60% marks in the Interview will be eligible

For Medical Officer ‘SC’/’SD’:

• Selection is based on Interview, those who secure minimum 60% marks in the Interview will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel, in the order of merit.
