Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff, a four-star Admiral, commands the navy. The primary objective of the navy is to safeguard the nation’s maritime borders, and in conjunction with other Armed Forces of the union, act to deter or defeat any threats or aggression against the territory, people or maritime interests of India, both in war and peace.
Through joint exercises, goodwill visits and humanitarian missions, including disaster relief, Indian Navy promotes bilateral relations between nations. The Navy has the following three Commands, each under the control of a Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief. The Western and the Eastern Naval Commands are ‘Operational Commands’, and exercise control over operations in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal respectively. The Southern Command is the Training Command.

- AA (Artificer Apprentice) : 500 posts
- SSR (Sailor Secondary Recruit) : 2000 posts
Salary: Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/- PM

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Recruitment 2022:
Educational Qualification:
- Artificer Apprentice: Candidates must qualify in 10+2 examination and 60% or more marks in Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
- Sailor Secondary Recruits: Candidates should complete 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: – Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Age Limit:
- The age limit for the candidates applying SSR and AA Posts should be Born between 1st August 2002 to 31st July 2005.
Selection Process for Indian Navy Recruitment 2022:
Candidates are selected based on their performance in the written test and Physical fitness test.
Written test:
- Common examination will be conducted for AA and SSR entries.
- The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type.
- The question paper will consists of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Awareness.
- The standard of the question paper will be of 10+2 level
- Duration of examination will be one hour.
Candidates who qualify in the written test are eligible to appear for the Physical fitness test.
