Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad) is an autonomous premier Science and Technology Institute established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay.
Academic activities at IIT Dharwad commenced in July 2016 with B.Tech course being offered in three core branches, namely, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The current intake at the institute stands at 40 students in each of the specializations. PhD program commenced from January 2018 session. Soon Masters programs will also be offered.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Obtained M.Tech/ B.Tech in Manufacturing/ Material Science/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with valid GATE Score.
Age Limit:
Candidates age must be maximum 30 years as on date of selection process.
Job Description:
- Working towards Design and development of 4D printing
process. - Developing mathematical model for smart material.
- Fabrication of multi material using 3D printing
- Integration of mathematical, material, microstructure, programming.
- Developing simulation and experimental test setups to validate the proposed model.
- Project report and publication writing
- Administrative activities related to the project.
Selection Process:
- Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of essential qualification and experience gained by them.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview they get intimation through e-mail and they must bring original certificates for verification.
