IB ACIO Notification 2021: Intelligence Bureau (IB) is an internal intelligence agency of India which is used to gather intelligence from within India and also execute counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks. The IB comprises employees from law enforcement agencies such as Indian Police Service (IPS) or Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and the military. Rajiv Jain, a 1980 batch Police officer from the Jharkhand cadre, is the current director of IB, holding the position since January 1, 2017.
The objective then was to monitor Russian troop deployments in Afghanistan, fearing a Russian invasion of British India through the North-West during the late 19th century.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must complete Graduation from a recognized University.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 09-01-2021. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process:
The selection process will be based on the following stages.

Tier-I Examination: Tier-I will be of 100 marks.

- Quantitative Aptitude
- Numerical or Logical Ability and Reasoning

Tier-II: Tier-II will be of 50 marks

Interview: Interview may include Psychometric test/ Aptitude test.
