Eligibility Criteria:
Assistant Engineer Electrical Cadre-(GATE Paper-EE)
- Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category/ other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile, in anyone of the following disciplines: i) Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit upto matric standard.
Mechanical discipline-Mechanical Engineering (GATE Paper-ME)
- Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category/ other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile, in anyone of the following disciplines: i) Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit upto matric standard
Information Technology discipline-Computer Science and Information Technology (GATE Paper-CS)
- Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category/other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile.
- Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit upto matric standard
Electronics discipline-Electronics & Communication Engg. (GATE Paper-EC)
- Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category! other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile, in anyone of the following disciplines: i) Electronics! Civil Cadre-Civil Engineering (GATE Paper-CE)
- Full-Time Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category/ other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile. b) Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit upto matric standard
Age Limit: 20 to 42 years as on 31.08.2017
Selection Process:
The candidates who have acquired the essential qualification as mentioned at Sr.No.2 above and must have qualified the GATE-2017 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering- 2017) conducted by lIT, Roorkee in Feb, 2017 in corresponding paper shall only be eligible to be considered for selection. The selection process consists of marks obtained (Normalized Marks out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-2017. No interview will be carried out for the posts being advertised by HPUs. Appointments will be made purely on the basis of merit of the GATE-2017. GATE Score of 2016 or prior will not be valid.
