Qualification: Master’s degree Electrical/ Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Control System/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Automotive engineering or equivalent faculties.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Model Based System Engineering in simulation, control and validation of hybrid and electric vehicles in a virtual vehicle simulation platform.
- Develop novel mathematical/data driven models of hybrid and electric vehicles systems for virtual vehicle simulation platform
- Propose experimental tests and perform validation of simulation platform by comparing with test results
- Research/analysis of system level performance and control methods for hybrid and electric vehicle powertrain and auxiliary systems
- Design controllers using closed-loop feedback including PID, Model Predictive Control, Optimal Control and Adaptive Control theory
- Demonstrate the desire to learn from new challenges, the problem solving and communication skills to work within a highly interactive team
- Report the state-of-the-art, with the opportunity to generate patents and publish in top conferences and journals
- Learn about the existing Hitachi’s products, technologies, simulation tools. This may include meeting/training with business divisions (both domestic and overseas).
