HCL is the only vertically integrated copper producer in India engaged in a wide spectrum of activities ranging from Mining, Beneficiation, Smelting, Refining and Continuous Cast Rod manufacturer.
HCL shares are listed at Mumbai, Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai, Ahmedabad exchanges. On 31 July 2015, the government of India announced a 15% stake sale in Hindustan Copper Limited, reducing its stake from 89.5% to 74.5%

| Survey | Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in Mining / Civil Engineering or M. Tech (Geomatics) with a minimum of 60% marks |
| Geology | Candidates must possess Post Graduation (full time) in Geology from a recognized Indian University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks |
| Concentrator | Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in Ore Dressing /Engineering/Technology (Mineral Engineering / Metallurgy / Material Science / Chemical) with a minimum of 60% marks |
| Electrical | Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technology (Electrical) with a minimum of 60% marks |
| Civil | Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks |
| Mechanical | Candidates must possess Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery with a minimum of 60% marks |
| Instrumentation | Candidates must possess Degree in Engineering / Technology (Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication) with a minimum of 60% marks |

Age Limit:
Candidates age must be maximum 28 years as on 01-09-2022. Age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates, 10 years for PWD Candidates.
Selection Process for Hindustan Copper Recruitment 2022:
The selection process for the posts would be based on their GATE Score card and personal interview.
70% weightage is given to GATE Score and 30% weightage is given to Personal interview.
