HCL is the only vertically integrated copper producer in India engaged in a wide spectrum of activities ranging from Mining, Beneficiation, Smelting, Refining and Continuous Cast Rod manufacturer.
HCL shares are listed at Mumbai, Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai, Ahmedabad exchanges. On 31 July 2015, the government of India announced a 15% stake sale in Hindustan Copper Limited, reducing its stake from 89.5% to 74.5%

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must complete 10th Class under 10+2 system with ITI in the trades of Fitter/ Electrician/ Turner from a recognized Institute.
- Candidates who have passed prior to the year 2018, they should attach an Affidavit on Non judicial stamp paper duly attested by Magistrate or Notary Public to the effect that they have neither undergone Apprenticeship Training earlier nor have taken employment anywhere.
Age Limit:
Candidates age must be maximum 25 years as on 01-08-2020. Age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates, 10 years for PWD Candidates.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the posts would be based on their performance in the written test.
