Eligibility Criteria for Google Recruitment For Freshers:
Software Engineering Intern:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and returning to a degree program after the internship ends
- Experience in software development in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in systems software or algorithms.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux or Windows environments and APIs.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and network programming.
- Excellent implementation skills (e.g., C++, Java, Python).
Duration: Summer Internships start in May/ June 2024 and are 10-12 weeks long.
Job Description:
Technical Solutions Consultant Intern:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science or a related technical field and returning to a degree program after the internship ends
- Experience with web technologies and experience with HTTP, HTMP, XML, database design and SQL Query construction, and experience with SQL and data modeling
- Experience in one or more programming languages: C++, Python, or Java
- Ability to communicate in English fluently
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytics
- Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques and trend analysis
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and information in an effective clear, concise manner, with internal and external stakeholders
- Available to work full-time for 12 weeks during the summer
Duration: Full-time 12-14 week internship program between May – July 2024.
