Eligibility Criteria For Google Off Campus Drive 2022 :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience programming in one or more language (Python, Perl, Java, Tcl, Bash, etc.)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience creating software/automation tools for hardware/silicon engineers to use
- Experience in automation/scripting and CAD flow development
- Experience in software development concepts (e.g., data structures, algorithms, best coding practices, testing, version control, and release)
- Ability to translate a high-level user problem into a software specification and drive development
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills
Job Description:
In this role, you will be part of our Devices and Services product area and the Silicon Engineering Productivity (EngProd) team. You will contribute to the development of different products that combine the best of Google AI, hardware, and software. The Silicon EngProd team’s mission is to maintain and continually improve the productivity of our Silicon team who develop custom silicon (chip) solutions, optimizing performance and power for our use cases. We are building for scale and operating the front-end CAD tools, flows, and methodologies which are used to develop custom silicon.
Responsibilities
- Define and develop software that provides the tooling, infrastructure, and automation necessary to create design systems, enabling chip development with greater levels of efficiency and reliability while managing increasingly complex chip designs.
- Enhance and maintain existing design systems for scale.
- Design and build automated testing frameworks to increase quality of software releases.
- Enable observability in design systems and develop dashboards.
