Job Description:
You will be responsible to help the software configuration management team to configure various products on different OS platforms. Owning and managing product’s team requests, you will ensure that all configuration actions are completed to guarantee environments set up and configured accordingly. To do it you will implement, maintain and troubleshoot software build and test environments. Your responsibility includes controlling software changes which will be released in application environments, software build management, software configuration management, package the software, deliver the product, maintain and archive a history of releases and patches. You will also contribute to the project documentation in terms of software configuration management.
Requirements:
- The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in:
- UNIX / Windows server administration
- Shell scripting
- Understanding of software build and packaging processes
- Source version control systems
In addition, the candidate should have:
- At least basic knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of SDLC
- Good troubleshooting and reporting skills
- Intermediate level of English or higher
- Knowledge of Oracle DBMS, CVS, HP-UX and installation testing will be a plus
- We are looking for an accurate, diligent, responsible and self-motivated team player who is comfortable working in a multinational environment on middle-scaled and complex systems
