Job Description:
The Intelligent Automation team is responsible for the development of a customer self-service platform with an increased focus on AI and bots. The development will range from web application development, core Java development, integration with various database technologies, front-end work including JavaScript and CSS and integration to messaging systems. We provide customers with a framework for easily building, maintaining and orchestrating their voice and chatbots and work with a wide range of AI systems.
Job Responsibilities:-
Design and develop new features and improvements for the Intelligent Automation product. Collaborate with multiple functions like Product Management, QA, Customer care and Professional Services to make this product successful. Learn and promote agile development in the team.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other that includes significant programming experience. Should have an experience of 1-3 years in software industry
- Working experience with Java – 1-3 years
- Knowledge of Javascript, HTTP and CSS
- Ability to write and understand SQL statements
- Experience using source code repositories, preferably Git
- Experience of using a unit testing framework such as JUnit
- Ability to debug code to identify and rectify issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work closely and communicate with other members of the team
Skills:
- Experience using one or more of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Postgres
- Experience with web services e.g. REST
- Use of XML and/or JSON and Use of web containers, preferably Apache Tomcat
- Experience in linux is a plus
- Experience with Ant, Ivy or Groovy or any build scripts
- Good understanding of Agile process and methods, preferably SCRUM
- Experience with continuous integration frameworks, preferably Jenkins
