Role Summary:
As part of the GE India Multi-modal Manufacturing team, the QA inspector is responsible for controlling product quality by first piece , in process & final inspection
Qualifications/Requirements::
- Any graduate or Diploma with 3 – 5 years of experience in machining part inspection & Final inspection of parts after finish machining
- Preferred as NDT Level-II in MT, UT.
- Preferred with hands on experience on using gauges
- Must have hands on experience of working on Profile Projector, 2D height gauge, Contour etc.
- Must have knowledge of GD & T, 7QC tools, Process capability, MSA
- Calibration of gauges and instruments as per plan
- Able to work in shifts as needed.
- Able to handle shift with team of inspectors.
- Shall have through machining knowledge
Essential Responsibilities:
- In-process, Layout inspection of machined parts
- Daily analysis of rework and rejections and reporting to the Quality Manager
- Final inspection of parts after finish machining
- Preferred as NDT Level-II in MT, UT.
- Preferred with hands on experience on CMM- Zeiss make
- Must have hands on experience of working on Profile Projector, 2D height gauge, Contour etc.
- Must have knowledge of GD & T, 7QC tools, Process capability, MSA
- Calibration of gauges and instruments as per plan
- Able to work in shifts as needed.
- Able to handle shift with team of inspectors.
- Shall have through machining knowledge
