Qualifications: ITI Machinist + Diploma Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operation & Programming of CNC – Horizontal Machining Center (HMC) + VTL + Turning Centers
- Hands on usage of Tool Pre Setter for various Tool Settings
- Component Drawing reading and machining as per dimensional & geometrical tolerances
- Component fit up and de-burring
- Hands on usage of various measuring instruments & gauges required while manufacturing
- Dimensional Inspection of components + CMM inspection
- To operate MRP software ( Fourth Shift ) for data entry like – manufacturing bills , standard machining timing, material receipt & issue , WIP inventory management
- Compressor Valves & Un Loaders – Assembly & Leak Testing per DR standards
- Understanding Bills of Material methodology – Single & Multi level Bills ( Child & Parent relations )
- Compressor Valves assembly drawing reading including understanding of dimensional & geometrical tolerances and to achieve final quality requirements
- Understanding and knowledge of exploded views and complete the valve & un-loader assemblies per DR quality standards
- Knowledge and use of hand & power tools, torque wrenches while assemblies
- Follow and maintain QMS+EMS+OHSAS standards in the functional area
- Follow and maintain all SAFETY rules & regulations in the functional area
- Design and Manufacturing of Jigs & fixtures required for CNC machining of valve components
- Maintain calibration data of all measuring instruments
