The Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL) is an Indian defence laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Located in Mysore, Karnataka, it conducts research and development of technologies and products in the area of food science and technology to cater the varied food challenges for the Indian Armed Forces. DFRL is organised under the Life Sciences Directorate of DRDO.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- ME or M.Tech with first division (both at graduate and post graduate level) in the fields of Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geomatics/ Geo-informatics/ Computer Plus HRA per Science OR
- BE or B.Tech with first division with NET/GATE qualified in the fields of Mechanical/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering. OR
- M.Sc, Physics/ Forestry/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Plant Physiolog with first division with UGC/CSIR NET/GATE qualified.
Maximum Age Limit: 28 years
