Electronics and Communication Engg / Electronics & Telecommunication Engg/ Electronics Engg/ Telecommunication Engg:
- At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics and Communication Engg / Electronics & Telecommunication Engg/ Electronics Engg/ Telecommunication Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.
Experience: Min 13 Years’ experience in the field of design or development or in respective discipline.
Scientist ‘E’ Posts:
Mechanical/Production/ Production & Industrial Engg/ Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering:
- At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/Production/ Production & Industrial Engg/ Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
Electrical Engg/Electrical & Electronics Engg/Electrical & Power Engg/Power System Engg:

Age Limit:
- For Scientist ‘F’: not exceeding 50 years.
- For Scientist ‘D’/‘E’: not exceeding 45 years.
- For Scientist ‘C’: not exceeding 35 years
Age Relaxation:
- 5 years for serving Central Civilian Govt. employees
- 10 years for Divyang/PWD candidates
Selection Process:
The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in the personal interview to be held at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/DRDO. Candidates serving in Govt. or in Govt. owned organizations will be required to produce “NOC” from their respective Department/Employer at the time of Interview failing which candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
