Eligibility Criteria for Dover Recruitment 2022:
- BE/ B.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering
Job Responsibilities:-
- NPD and VAVE, Project management, Design of mechanical components, mechanisms and assemblies. Contribute new ideas to enhance both the design methodology, automation etc. Assistance with initial assembly of prototype assemblies, validation/verification testing, development of equipment/fixture for testing.
- 3D modeling/drafting of Precision machined/casting metal parts, good experience in Unigraphics/Creo/Solidworks and Windchill. Creation of BOM in Oracle.
- Perform Design Calculations for components to ensure design margin with respect to specification/requirement, develop transfer functions for critical requirements
- Understand relevant product standards and adherence of the same in the product design. Understanding of design considerations for high pressure applications is preferred 5: Identify opportunities for improvement and automate the design process to reduce the design cycle time.
Job Requirements:-
- Understand and interpret product standards and arriving at concept and detailed designs to meet the same. Creation of product requirement specifications, FMEA, test/control plans. Experience in NPD and VAVE methodologies and stage gate process.
- 3D modelling and drafting using Unigraphics/CREO and product documentation in Windchill, Exposure to manufacturing processes (preferably precision machining, casting and welding) and equipment’s related to fluid flow
- Design of seal joints for both static and dynamic applications, design of parts and processes with precision tolerances for high pressure and flow applications. Design of mechanisms. Knowledge of GD&T and Weld symbols.
- Technical leadership to guide the team in meeting the project deadlines and project management.
