Qualification for Dassault Systemes Recruitment 2022:

• M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Structural Simulation using FEA preferably using Abaqus but not limited to it
• Comfortable in a Linux and Windows environment
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter who works well independently on assigned tasks and products with minimal guidance
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment and interact with/leverage Development, Application Management, Product Management and Validation Teams

Job Description:

This is a high visibility, cross-functional role with tremendous potential for learning and initiating career growth and collect experience in the building of Dassault Systemes’ complex simulation applications.

The Apprentice Engineer will support our core structures simulator software development, and have a pivotal role in the organization with responsibility for the quality of our software. You will interact with the Development, Physics R&D and Application Management teams as a key contributor to product quality.   

Job Responsibilities:-

• Review enhancement specifications and provide early feedbacks on specifications
• Create Test Plan and evaluate structures product functionality
• Execute Test Plans and incorporate into the regression suite
• Report bugs and track their corrections
• Running and analyzing the structures regression suite on various supported platforms
• Manual GUI testing
• Analyze other areas of low coverage and enhance the suite to cover them
• Document all tests and procedures

Skills:

• Preferably should have done BE\M.E.\M.Tech projects in the area of FEA\FEM
• Good understanding of basic Engineering \ FEA\FEM concepts
• Knowledge of other FEA\FEM software Ansys, Nastran, Hyper Mesh, Ansa etc.
