Central Power Research Institute is the power house of the Indian electrical industry. Set up in 1960 by the Government of India, it functions as a centre for applied research in electrical power engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development and quality assurance.

CPRI also serves as an independent authority for testing and certification of power equipment. CPRI’s governing body includes eminent professionals from industries & utilities, prestigious academic and research institutions & the government. It employs over 300 highly qualified and experienced engineers & scientists besides other supporting staff.

Positions: Engineering Officer

Experience: Freshers

Salary (Fellowship): Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400/- PM

Job Location: Bhopal, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Noida, Kolkata, Guwahati and Nasik, Bangalore

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Obtained B.Tech in Civil/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Computer Science Engineering from a recognized University with minimum 65% of marks.
• Candidates must attend the GATE 2019 examination and should qualify with relevant score.

Age Limit:

Candidates age must be maximum 30 years.

Selection Process:

Candidates are selected based on their performance in the Interview. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
