Eligibility Criteria:
Degree in Mechanical Engg./ Mechanical Stream of Engg./ Naval Architecture/ Naval Architecture Stream of Engg. with a minimum 50% marks from recognized university and degree obtained from institutes approved by All India Council of
Technical Education (AICTE) or the IITs’ or from University Engineering Colleges.
Note: All candidates should possess Passport (Indian) at the time of admission.
Physical Standards:
Height & Weight: Minimum 157 cms with correlated weight and proportionate chest.
Age limit: 28 years as on 01.01.2019
Selection process:
- Written and Practical tests will be conducted from time to time and minimum pass marks 50% in each subject is required for the successful completion of the course.
- The candidate must pass the psychological screening test (MMPE test) conducted on behalf of Directorate General of Shipping.
Course Fee: Rs 3,80,000/- (For female candidates is Rs 2,90,000/-).
This includes Tuition fee, Study Materials, Library & Laboratory charges, Uniforms, Boarding and Lodging expenses, Swimming pool charges, Group Insurance and Student Membership of Institute of Marine Engineers.
Mode of Payment: Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank, in favour of “Cochin Shipyard Limited”, payable at Ernakulam.
