As a Technical Support Engineer, you will proactively monitor system and application alarms, investigate, analyze, resolve or escalate alarms and service requests. In this role, you will be working on front end (Windows server), back end (UNIX based servers), middleware and database of client systems.
You will also prioritize and manage work queue in accordance with service level agreements, document investigation, issue resolution and triage issues to appropriate second-level resources for resolution. Job Description:
We are elated to hire a Software Intern for our Consulting or Client Support teams in Global Services business. As a software Intern, you will write code and associated tests. You are required to collaborate on component level technical designs. You will troubleshoot and document root cause analysis and resolution of issues. You will complete assigned tasks and deliverables accurately and efficiently. Also, you will propose and assist with implementation of process and operational improvements.
Preferable Qualification:
- Ability to work 10-40 hours per week
- Active participation in Cerner’s Internship Program
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
