Eligibility Criteria for Caterpillar Recruitment 2023:

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Relevant work experience required: 2 – 5 years with bachelor’s degree
Experience in hydraulic systems or components, preferably in mobile hydraulics
Exposure in handling hydraulic instruments & tools
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
Strong knowledge in Power Apps

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to provide detailed interpretation of hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot on machine hydraulic systems (BIQ and Line issues)
Test & Validate hydraulics components in machine level
Actively support a prototype, pilot, or production build and on-machine hydraulic system test
Maintain product health by resolving CPI problems using 6 sigma methodology
Collaborate with the CFT team to support quality goals, process audit of Suppliers & APQP / PPAP Processes.
Perform data analysis using outputs of analytical tools and test data
Perform hyd. Components placement by checking the layout of the whole machine along with an understanding of the hydraulic system/schematic and create concepts to further evaluate and select.
Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes and Machine Bill of Material (BOM).

Skills:

Strong project management skills – Developing, maintaining, and executing to a project management plan.
Ability to develop & leverage a global network of engineering resources.
